Full BIM modeling
As a master's final project, the well-known "Casa Guerrero" project by Alberto Campo Baeza gets modelled. It includes the creation of an architectural, structural, civil and installation models, both plumbing; and electrical and communications.
The architectural model is generated as as-built, so that bills of materials could be obtained from the model, as well as checking all the wall-floor and wall-slab joints interactions.
All different families (eg. doors) of elements needed for the project are also generated and incorporated to the model, as well as the curtain wall that encloses the house.
In the civil model, the house is located in the world, with its real location, the grading is proposed and with it, earthworks calculation is obtained.
In the structural model, foundation, load-bearing structure and closing walls are designed, all of them with their reinforcements.
Finally, in the MEP model we find all the plumbing elements, coordinated with the architectural model, with all their corresponding connections to down-pipes and manholes, and the elements of electrical installations, organized according to systems and house areas.
All of the above will be incorporated into a coordination model, where clash control, plan generation and material lists can be carried out.
A very complete project, which I like to use to show my complete competence in BIM environments.
